8 How effective are Facebook ads? They seem too good to be true.
So I'm looking into Facebook ads for a upcoming project with the business I work for, but the figures Facebook is providing sound hard to believe. So for £4 a day, with a 70km radius, I can reach between 30 - 50k people a day. The interests obviously affect this hugely I know from the testing I've been doing. Now while this sounds very good, it also seems too good for £4. How do people find them, can they be trusted to reach that number of people or are they often overestimates?

I agree that FB ads is cheaper than other advertising forms. Often, they are only providing estimates of the reach of the ads. (And some people on FB aren't providing their real location so other declaring specific location may be included in the ads audience.) If your goal is only to spread the word for your competition, you can maximize your campaign to 'boost post' select 'impression' instead of 'engagement' or you can choose 'unique daily reach' so your ads will only appear to unique audience daily.
Fb ads are good but i observed sometime organic reach is more than paid reach.... Success of your fb advt is on how u give advt in terms of content, location snd offcourse estimate.....but its works good...and easy to oprate....
